Netscape 6.0 is not currently supported.

Turns display of overview map (small map window), containing entire City of Chicago view, on and off.

Zoom to Full Extent

Zoom out to entire City of Chicago view.

Zoom Last

Zoom Last
Zoom to the previous extent.

Zoom In

Zoom In
Click once in map to zoom in on a particular location or click, hold and drag a box to define a 'zoom in' area. The 'Zoom In' tool is the default tool selected when the map initially opens.

Zoom Out

Zoom Out
Click once in the map to zoom out. The 'Zoom Out' tool centers the map on the position where you click the mouse.

Pan

Pan
Click and drag in the map window to move around the city.

Measure

Measure
Click in the map window to see the distance from one click point to the next. This works by clicking the left mouse button to start, move your mouse to the desired location, and click the left mouse button to view distances.

Identify

Identify
Click once on the map to retrieve information. If more than one map feature is included by the click on the map, information for each layer of data will be returned.

Search

Search
Allows location by address, intersection or parcel form to appear in the bottom area of the mapping page.

GeoSearch

Geography Go To
Locates features on the map based on geographic location.

Clear Selection

Clear Selection
Clears the selection of map features.

Print

Print
Creates a map image for printing from browser.

Help

Get Help
Opens this page.
